4 Essentials you SHOULD know

Daily Dose LogoAs we all have addictive tendencies to a certain extent, I want you to be aware and put into practice the Four Pillars of good health! Next week, I am going to talk in a lot more detail about these Four Pillars of good health. I think I will give you some great tactics to help you improve your life. First of all, I think you have to be ready to implement these ideas.  Only then will you begin to experience more energy and a sense of a healthier you.  I am talking purely from personal experience and from hundreds of patients that have told me that their lives are so much better by just following a few diet, supplement and lifestyle changes.
 
The list below is what I call the Four Pillars of Health:

  1. Secure good quality sleep in an adequate amount
  2. Generate Vital and Quality Energy
  3. Increase natural endorphins with regular exercise
  4. Get the Past out of your Future, seek Mental and Spiritual Wellness

 
The aforementioned Pillars will be discussed in great detail next week in our Daily Dose!  We will do a wrap-up and battle plan next Friday!  I have some wonderful things in store for you next week.  I would like to thank the hundreds of people that have expressed their support.  I was so thankful to hear from a colleague South of Indianapolis that took time from his busy day to call and thank me for the Daily Dose.  Also, the dozens of patients at the office and across the country that have told me personally or emailed their appreciation for the Daily Dose.  It is for you that I do this writing. I want everyone to feel better, get their energy back, and kick away disease and despair.

Now, what can you do for your addiction?  What natural supplements will help you? Is there really a point to break an addiction by starting on another addictive prescriptive substance?  No, I don't think so either.
 
Here is what you do:
 

  • Pick Quality Proteins and eat them three times a day.  Protein is like Oxygen, you don't just breath at dinner time, right?
  • Have a handful of raw nuts or seeds at least once a day (Omega 3 Fatty Acids and Protein = increased satiety)
  • Choose foods that will keep your blood sugar level.  Avoid the BSRC!  (Blood Sugar Roller Coaster)
  • Half of your single plate meal should be:  1/2 Vegetables, 1/4 Protein, and 1/4 low Glycemic Index Carbs - Brown rice, wholewheat pasta, beans, lentils, etc.)
  • Seven free - range, organic Omega 3 eggs per week.  High in phospholipids and Vitamin E.
  • Drink 64 ounces of filtered water a day, minimum.
  • Eat breakfast everyday!  This is the most important think you can do to stay off the BSRC!
  • Avoid the bad fats and the fried, processed foods
  • Start with the Core 4 Supplement Pack:
  1. Multigenics Multivitamin-4-6 Tablets per day.  (A One a Day can only hold 1000mg per day.  That is NOT enough in our society with our food)
  2. Vitamin C  2000 mg / day
  3. Essential Omega 3 Fatty Acids:   My favorite is ProEFA
  4. Vitamin D - the average is 2000-3000 IU per day.  (Vitamin D is a NeuroHormone, not a true Vitamin--key for

  • Main meal carbs, lunch and dinner, should be Quinoa, Beans or Lentils, Brown Basmati Rice, or a small boiled Potatoes, or 100% Wholewheat Pasta
  • Best Source of Brain Fats are:  Flax seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Sesame Seeds, Walnuts, Salmon, Herring,  Sardines, Fresh Tuna, Omega 3 Eggs, Evening Primrose Oil (at the Natural Support Center at Dr. Haendiges, Medical Center), Lean, free-grazed Organic Meat which is rich in Omega 3 Fatty acids and Vitamin E.
